The later half of the game can feel a bit unpolished. I enjoyed it, but I am aware I am in the minority. Is supposedly being re-worked to use the mechanics from later games, and some people might prefer to wait, because some people found it's resource system quite cumbersome. Spellforce 3 basegame (Called Burning Blood in some places) Pros and cons, in my own opinion, of starting with each: The hardware recommendations are still the same of the base SF3 game who was a lot more close to these hardware recommendations. The stories are different, so at some point if you like the game you'll want to collect them all. I recommend at least a Ryzen 1600x or an Intel 6700k. This game is VERY CPU intensive (single thread) and the official Hardware recommendations are not correct. As far as I can tell, I meet all recommended hardware on the store page. Everything had defaulted to highest settings and default monitor resolution of 4k. When I got to the display settings, it reflected that I was sitting at a stable 20 fps, which looked terrible. Originally posted by Lurker:I just started up the game for the first time and jumped into the menu to mess with my settings and options. Would like to bump that up to 60fps if I can, but I'm not sure what to change in order to make that happen, and I'm tired of blindly messing with this and having to restart the game every time I change something.Ĭan anybody recommend what display settings I should be using to maximize my fps? I appreciate any help. Right now I'm running the game in 1440 windowed at 47-48 fps with highest settings. At highest settings it didn't seem to make much difference. I reduced my resolution from 4k to 1440, which bumped me up to 43-44 fps at low settings. I adjusted everything down to medium, which made zero difference, after which I went to lowest settings, and got an extra 1 or 2 frames. I just started up the game for the first time and jumped into the menu to mess with my settings and options.
